Team Matt’s British Showjumping National Championships 2018 – Grade ll Victory!

We are delighted to be at the British Showjumping National Championships this year following our win at RDA National Championships last month – hopefully we will keep our winning streaks as we are in action for the Para Equestrian National Championship Grade ll class on 10th of August in the Porsche Centre Solihull Championship Arena two held in Stoneleigh hosted by British Showjumping.

After some short delay due to torrential rain which disrupted the class on Friday afternoon, unfortunately Womble and myself were so wet but luckily enough, sunshine is back into the Porsche Centre Solihull Championship Arena 2 which the National Para Equestrian Championship classes is certainly going ahead – Team Matt warmed up together brilliantly well in the warm up area which they both looked so good before their round gets on underway in the Grade ll class.

We went into the action in the glorious sunshine, both of us produced such a incredible double clear round with our fastest time of 35.20 seconds which put us in the first place position, we were luckily enough to win the Para Equestrian Grade ll class officially – we brought home with another national title again for second time. We are also proud to receive our ultimate prize of the brand new British Showjumping rug, our winning sash and rosette during the presentation award ceremony. We were congratulated by everyone who saw our round and receive lots of well done, congratulations, praise messages over social media which has boosted our confidence. Thank you to the people behind Team Matt for their fantastic support over past few weeks, especially Jayne Hughes with her fabulous advice this week. It is also our proud moment to win the Para National Equestrian Grade ll class again following the success at RDA National Championship last month.

We look forward to the RDA ID Championships and our final Para Showjumping competition at end of this month which will be very busy weekend for Team Matt as we will be prepare some hard work next week.
