Team Matt braced the round at Bishop Burton!

Our success from Keysoe has continued at Bishop Burton Equestrian Centre where we’re hoping for some victory with more points added to our points for Para Showjumping League. Over past few weeks, we both have prepared really well at home together with Jayne so we went to Bishop Burton where we are about to produce another fantastic round last weekend in the glorious sunshine from Bishop Burton College hosting the Para Showjumping classes.

Unfortunately, it didn’t went very well on Sunday as there was some mistakes we just have made which I had a fall off after getting into saddle in the warm up arena but it proved that I did not give up and managed to get back into the saddle again with our determination, confidence. Our warm up has been impressively well which showing that we absolutely did not give up together. We approached the first fence with strength, unfortunately Womble decide to refuse jump confidently which is our first refusal but we managed to carry on until the fence no 7 which we just had a another refusal which seemed so frustrating enough, and we have managed to finish our whole round – I am so very brave and carried on with our positive attitude which has been so fantastic – onwards and forwards. We came second place in the end which we are delighted with this result – Team Matt looking forward to competing together again at Hartpury in few weeks time for the RDA National Championship which we will be collecting our Dressage Anywhere Gold Medal and we are in action of Grade 4 Championship Test & Graded Showjumping – wish us best luck!
